The University of Trinidad and Tobago - Biosciences, Agriculture and Food Technology (BAFT) Unit Lecturer - Mr. Lakshman Lochan, engages with staff of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries - Extension, Training and Information Services Division at Centeno, as UTT continues to partner with other organisation and their various departments on education, training and outreach on Climate Smart Agriculture - Adapting Agriculture alongside Climate Change. Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources are key sectors to our survival within our Island State. In understanding the challenges that these systems will face, due to climate change, we must be ready to adapt our food production systems, to maintain resilience in production and the quality of foods available.
