Visit to K.C. Confectionery Limited

The Business Management and Entrepreneurship class of the Food Science and Technology programme visited K.C. Confectionery Ltd to expose students to a local food and beverage practical working environment, in order to obtain knowledge of the history of the company, its products and operations.

The objectives of the visit were met by a well-organised tour with the company ensuring strict adherence to all health and safety regulations that are applicable in a food preparation environment.

In touring the plant, the students were educated and viewed the various stages of product preparation involved in manufacturing the various types of candies, from raw material to the finished product, the machinery and the equipment used.
