The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) is pleased to announce its successful participation in the Erasmus+ Capacity Building for Higher Education (CBHE) programme through the newly awarded ARCHIPELAGO project.
Coordinated by the Harokopio University of Athens (Greece), this international initiative brings together higher education institutions from Fiji, Comoros, Slovakia, Greece, and Trinidad and Tobago to enhance the digital transformation capacity of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
The project will address critical challenges faced by SIDS by:
UTT's involvement in this initiative was led by the International Office and Grant Funding (IOGF) Unit, which continues to play a strategic role in advancing international partnerships and securing external funding aligned with the institution's development priorities.
This award reflects UTT's ongoing commitment to international collaboration, institutional strengthening, and academic excellence.
Out of more than 1,500 proposals worldwide, only 173 were selected - and UTT is among them!
