UTT's Outreach and Industrial Relations Unit Powers Smarter Work with AI for Administrative Professionals

UTT's Outreach and Industry Relations (OIR) Unit  recently delivered AI-Powered Efficiency for Administrative Professionals, a practical course designed to help administrative personnel use artificial intelligence to improve productivity and decision-making.

The course brought together professionals from the energy, education and public sectors. Key areas included AI fundamentals, prompt engineering, workflow automation, document processing, scheduling, email management and data analysis.

Through demonstrations, discussions and simulations, participants explored how AI can streamline routine tasks, improve workflows, generate useful insights and create more time for higher-value responsibilities. The course also reinforced the responsible and ethical use of AI through the verification of AI-generated content, data protection and human oversight.

This initiative reflects UTT's Outreach and Relations' commitment to equipping professionals and organisations with practical AI capabilities for a more efficient and digitally enabled workplace.
