UTT Patriots High Performance Football student-athlete, Collette Morgan, has been selected for the Trinidad and Tobago National Senior Women's Football team.

The soon-to-be 25 year-old national defender will aim to establish herself on the senior women’s roster as they take on Panama in two (2) international friendlies on October 21st and 25th at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva, Trinidad.

The "Women Soca Warriors" were initially in preparation for the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Qualifiers that has been shifted from November, 2021 to February, 2022. The change came as a result of challenges associated with travel into and within certain countries in the region. Both T&T and Panama will be using the friendly encounters to prepare for the newly scheduled dates of the Qualifiers.

Morgan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Kinesiology at UTT.
