Professional athlete and former UTT Patriots Netball student-athlete, Shaquanda Greene-Noel, left an impressionable mark on the international netball circuit, following her stellar performance in her first Commonwealth Games appearance.

Fresh off of her professional debut with the Celtic Dragons in the Vitality Netball Superleague, Shaquanda was selected as captain of the National Senior Women's Netball team that represented Trinidad and Tobago at this year’s edition of the quadrennial multisport event.

Shaquanda, who plays at the Goal Defence and Goal Keeper positions, led the Games with a total of 24 rebounds and 49 gains. She was also ranked second in pick-ups (32), fifth in interceptions (12) and tied for first and third in minutes played (360) and deflections (28), respectively.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games, was held in Birmingham, England from 28 July to 8 August 2022.
