UTT Patriots High Performance Table Tennis Coach Aleena Edwards was selected as national coach to lead Trinidad and Tobago's youth representative team that participated in the first ever International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Pan American Under-11 and Under-13 Championships in Cuenca, Ecuador. The tournament ran from 18-24 October, 2021.

The youth team comprised of under-13 female players, Chloe Fraser and Jordan Thong, and under-13 male player, Jonathan Cottoy. They competed in the Under 13 Girls' Team, Under 13 Girls' Doubles, Under 13 Mixed Doubles, and the Under 13 Boys' and Girls' Singles events. Thong and Cottoy also teamed up for the Mixed Doubles event.

Locally, each member of the trio is considered a top junior. In the Girls' Team contest, Fraser and Thong finished third in the group stages with four (4) points, losing to Columbia (1-3) and Peru (2-3), while securing a 3-0 victory over Puerto Rico. In the group stage of the Singles matches, all three participants finished in position three, with two (2) points.
