Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly ORVILLE LONDON says he is inspired by the sincerity and maturity of MALALA YOUSAFZAI who paid him a courtesy call on Monday morning during a short visit to the sister isle. "We are more appreciative of the calibre of this young lady and how she can inspire all of us through education" he told the media.

He thanked UTT and in particular line Minister FAZAL KARIM for the initiative and for recognising the importance of Tobago sharing in this experience.   "We in Tobago are honoured to have this outstanding lady with us. It's awesome what she would have accomplished by the age of 17 but most importantly for us in Tobago is the fact that here is a young lady who is prepared to strive for and fight for what is right. This is the lesson we in Tobago will take away". He also told her "in addition to free education for all, we practice equality in education and equality in politics".

In response, MALALA said she is truly motivated by Trinidad and Tobago's work in making free education a priority and wants to see the same for other countries, including her own. "This is inspiring for me and the Fund and the work we are doing around the world. Your warm welcome is so touching".
