The UTT Patriots Athletics team achieved great success at the first National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago (NAAATT) Track and Field Series, held on Sunday 7th January, 2024 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.

UTT Patriots’ Umar Sandy, Ajani Titus, Kristian La Touche, and Kristopher La Touche captured first place in the Men Discus Throw (2kg), Men 1500 Metre Run, Men High Jump and Men Triple Jump events, respectively. Sandy and Titus achieved personal bests (PBs) in their winning performances with a throw of 53.21m and a time of 4:31.16.

Kenan Alexander placed second behind Sandy with a PB of 38.82m, while Kayla Charles took second place in the Women Javelin Throw (600g) with a distance of 26.89m.

Other noteworthy performances included PBs by Matthew Graham (49.86) in the Men 400 Metre Dash, and Titus (10:02.99) in the Men 3000 Metre Run Open. Nathaniel Semper and Matthew Graham ran their fastest opening times in the Men 100 Metre Dash (10.87) and the Men 400 Metre Dash (50.96), respectively.
