UTT Patriots Cricket student-athlete, Ronillster Perreira, was named "Best All-Round Player" at the conclusion of the "Emerging Players of Trinidad and Tobago" programme hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB).

The programme, sponsored by the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT), featured twenty (20) of the country's top under-23 cricketers who participated in 'live-in' weekend camps over eight (8) consecutive weekends. This comprised sixteen (16) sessions from 20 October - 10 December, 2023.

According to the TTCB, the programme was initiated to develop the skillset, and theoretical cricketing knowledge, bridging the gap between the youth level and senior level cricket in Trinidad and Tobago.

Perreira recently travelled with the Trinidad and Tobago Under-19 Men's Cricket team that participated in the West Indies Rising Stars Under-19 Men's Championship tournament held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from 4 July to 1 August, 2023.

The TTCB described Perreira as a very well-organised individual, a talented left-arm spin bowler/batsman, a good student of the game, and an excellent communicator, who is always willing to share advice.
