Former UTT Patriots Football player, Mikal Boisson, has been admitted into the University of Kansas (KU) to pursue the Physical Education Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) - Sport Management programme.

In 2016, Boisson graduated from UTT with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies with specialisation in Sport Management (Magna Cum Laude), before moving to the United States (US) to seek his Masters at Adelphi University (AU), New York. He graduated from AU in 2020 with a Masters in Sport Management and specialisation in Sports Based Youth Development.

Boisson is presently an Afterschool Director at O2B Kids in Orlando, Florida. He will be teaching two (2) undergraduate courses as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at KU and also consults and manages persons wishing to obtain scholarships in the US.

His PhD journey at KU will begin August, 2021 and he is expected to graduate in 2024.
