Mohammed Re - elected as NORCECA Vice - President

The University of Trinidad and Tobago's (UTT) Senior Sport Officer, Mushtaque Mohammed, has been re - elected as Executive Vice -  President of the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Executive Committee.

The Committee and its Board of Administration were unanimously confirmed to serve the 2024
 - 2028 term at the 27th NORCECA Congress held in the Dominican Republic from July 6th - 7th July,  2024.

Mohammed represents one of the four presidents of the NORCECA Zonal Associations on the Committee, serving as the President of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA), which comprises twelve (12) National Federations.

He will also serve as President of the NORCECA Development Commission, and a member of its Sport Organizing Commission, Technical and Coaches Commission, Refereeing Commission, Beach Volleyball Commission, Press Commission, Medical Commission, Finance Commission, Technical, Statistics and VIS Commission, Legal Commission, Marketing Commission, and Athlete Commission.

In the previous term (2020 - 2024) Mohammed was the Executive Vice - President and President of NORCECA's Development Commission. He is one of nine Executive  Vice -  Presidents of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and President of the FIVB Development Commission. He has also represented the FIVB as an International Technical Official (ITO) at three (3) Olympic Games.

Mohammed has been an active member of NORCECA since 1996.
