Brian Persad is a distinguished alumnus of the Institute of Criminology and Public Safety (ICPS), who achieved a remarkable dual milestone in November 2023. Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Criminology and Public Safety, Brian concurrently celebrated a well-deserved promotion to Corporal in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).

 

Brian reflects on his challenging yet rewarding, work/study journey: "Although the road to completing my B.A.Sc. in Criminology and Public Safety was a challenging one, it afforded me the opportunity to be promoted. Promotion is always hard to come by within the TTPS, but this enabled me to gain the knowledge needed to get that edge in my job as a police officer."

 

Undeterred, Brian is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Strategic Leadership and Management, showcasing his commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
