The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), through its International Office and Grant Funding Unit (IOGF), has established partnerships with various institutions in Canada. These partnerships allow students, staff and faculty the opportunity to pursue funded study or research abroad under the Government of Canada's Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (DFATD) initiatives.
IOGF is happy to report that we are at varying levels of engagement with the following partners:
UTT’s International Office has been invited to submit applications for scholars and researchers in order to match UTT candidates with suitable Canadian hosts. In the event that invitations for specific programme areas are received, Heads of Departments will be contacted directly by the International Office to explore these opportunities.
Brock University has issued a general call for interested candidates and once candidates are matched with available hosts, applications will be finalised between both institutions.
Opportunities at Brock University:
1. The Canada-CARICOM Leadership Scholarships Program
This programme provides students and researchers from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) with short-term exchange opportunities for study or research at the college, undergraduate and graduate levels.
