CONGRATULATIONS to the awardees of the Canada-Caricom Funding Programmes

The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), through its partnership with Canadian Universities, has been able to access opportunities for funded study, research and exploratory exchanges from the Canadian Government through the Canada-Caricom Funded Programmes.
Several of these programmes are offered in an effort to encourage participation in international study and research partnerships towards fostering understanding among peoples, developing global citizens and leaders, and contributing to the development of nations.
From 2013-2016, the International Office and Grant Funding Unit has facilitated numerous applications for Canadian funding, culminating in sixteen (16) successful awards in a range of disciplines.
For the 2016 rotation of Canada-Caricom funded programmes, UTT engaged a number of formal and prospective partners for collaborations on these funded programmes.
Upon confirmation from the Canadian institutions of their willingness to host UTT's students, Faculty and Staff; a call for applications was forwarded to all relevant departments for dissemination to prospective candidates. Interested candidates were provided with the required support for thorough and timely submission to the institution of choice for review and selection by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
