Increasing Institutional Collaborations with Global Affairs Canada

On Monday 18^th March, 2019, Ms. Michaeline Narcisse, Trade Commissioner for Education, Infrastructure along with Mr. Benjamin Ebella and Ms. Danielle Wilkinson from the International Scholarships Division (ISD) paid a courtesy visit to UTT.  The delegation was welcomed by President Sarim Al-Zubaidy and included Ms. Florence Louis-Edouard, Senior Manager, International Office and Grant Funding.

Since 2013, the UTT Community has benefitted from over twenty five scholarship awards, collaborative research and projects with Higher Education Institutions and other agencies made possible by the Government of Canada.  As a result of our ongoing relationships, thisvisit was centred on continuation and expansion of institutional collaborations and student exchange agreements between Canadian postsecondary institutions and UTT.  In addition, the UTT Team was also provided with valuable information on different scholarship opportunities offered by Global Affairs Canada, and advice for leveraging these to the mutual benefit of both UTT and Canadian Institutions.
