UTT has been awarded a grant to develop the Printing, Packaging and Plastics Industry.

The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) has been awarded €155,000.00 to assist in the developmental capacity of the human resource needs of the Printing, Packaging and Plastics Industry in Trinidad and Tobago.

This grant has been awarded through the ACP-EU 'Overcoming Technical Barriers to Trade' Programme as a result of collaborative efforts amongst UTT's academic faculty and industry partners supported by the International Office and Grant Funding Unit, as part of its mandate to expand the University’s Resource Mobilisation thrust. The execution of this project would be undertaken through the Professional Education Unit in collaboration with industry personnel.

The ACP-EU Overcoming Technical Barriers to Trade Programme is financed by the European Union under the 10th European Development Fund.
