The University of Trinidad and Tobago recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Organisation of American States (OAS) for the implementation of two courses under the OAS-Government of Chile Scholarship and Training Project for CARICOM Countries.

These two courses are as follows: 

1. Fundamentals of Disaster Preparedness
2. Managing Disasters and Emergencies

Under this agreement, UTT's Institute of Criminology and Public Safety will offer the highlighted courses online through the UTT CANVAS Platform from November 19 to December 14, 2018. Up to eighty (80) participants who are citizens of CARICOM countries including Trinidad and Tobago will benefit from “OAS-UTT Scholarships”.
