The UTT Patriots Table Tennis team put on a good show in their debut at the Trinidad and Tobago Table Tennis Association's (TTTTA) Premier League on March 22, 2024. The Patriots took on the Servivors at their Endeavour, Chaguanas venue beating the hosts in a clean sweep (3-0).

UTT's guest player Andrew Edwards was first to serve off for the Patriots defeating Servivors' Isa Mohammed 11-7, 11-6, and 11-4. Student-athlete, Javier King, followed Edwards' dominance topping Musaahib Newaj 12-10, 11-7, and 11-6.

In the last game of the matchup, student-athlete, Matthew Mootra overcame Riad Abasali 11-9, 11-4, and 11-8, after falling short in two sets (3-2) to give the UTT Patriots the clean sweep over their opponents.

UTT was the last of the eleven (11) teams to make its debut in the league. The leagues consits of WASA, QPCC, Carenage Blasters, Smalta Crusaders, D'Abadie Youths, Arima Hawks, Hillview Renegades, Servivors, Powergen, UTT and Couva Trailblazers.

All clubs will compete in a round-robin competition in upcoming months,  with the top four advancing to play for the Premier League title.
