In July 2021, The University of Trinidad and Tobago's (UTT) Sport and Recreation Unit partnered with Guardian Life of the Caribbean, to engage the University's Scholarship student-athletes in a Financial Planning Workshop Series entitled "Future Proof your Finances".

This Workshop provided participating athletes with information and skills towards making the right financial decisions.

A total of 85 student-athletes participated in the Workshop with ten (10) of them being the winners of $500.00 each courtesy Guardian Life of the Caribbean.

Guardian Life of the Caribbean also donated $10,000.00 towards UTT's Men Football Team's preparation at the FISU America Football World Cup qualifiers in Merida, Mexico, October this year.

The Sport and Recreation Unit thanks Guardian Life of the Caribbean for their collaboration and contribution towards the holistic development of our young sportsmen and sportswomen.
