The event, which was hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Chess Association (TTCA) ran from April 4th – 6th, 2022 at Preysal Secondary School.

Alexandra, who was ranked second at the start of the tournament, finished first with six (6) points and an 1800 performance rating. She has been a part of the UTT Patriots Chess Club since 2021.

Alexandra, is one of the many participants who would have benefited from the free virtual training sessions which was spearheaded and hosted by UTT's Sport and Recreation SUCCESS Unit last year.

This initiative was conducted by national chess players, Alex Winter and Dev Soondarsingh. Both of whom have offered their services to help improve the skills of persons interested in learning more about the game.
