Risk Based Process Safety is a blend of engineering and management skills focused on preventing catastrophic accidents and near misses. The ANSA McAL Group recognises this and has partnered with The University of Trinidad and Tobago's (UTT's) Outreach to engage employees as part of their staff development plan.

Participants from within the ANSA McAL Group both locally and regionally, were introduced to the tools and techniques for managing process safety and were challenged to think of how their process safety management system(s) can be enhanced and modified to meet the concepts of risk-based decision making.

This is the third such engagement that UTT Outreach has successfully delivered to the ANSA McAL Group having trained a total of sixty two (62) staff members.
