The Security Industry has been one of the fastest growing professions over the past decade. There are many more people pursuing a career in security than ever before. As the number of personnel increases, it is important that these individuals have the necessary training to ensure they can both stand out in this competitive job market as well as provide a higher level of quality service to business and industry. Training, without a doubt, improves a security officer’s credentials and credibility as a professional.

UTT Outreach developed and delivered this customised course in Basic Security Training for Imjin Security Company Limited at UTT Chaguanas Campus.

The course included a broad range of modules inclusive of the roles and responsibilities of the security officer, patrols, asset protection, emergency procedures, investigations, survival tactics and report writing which will equip the participants with the skills necessary to carry out their duties in keeping with international best practice of protecting people, assets and information.
