UTT Outreach partnered with The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NGC) to facilitate a Technical Report Writing Workshop for Technicians. 

Report preparation has become part and parcel of today’s professional routines.  Engineers, Scientists and Managers of technical areas are currently expected to generate technical reports that are accurate, easy to understand and inclusive of appropriate details. This workshop was designed to reinforce the main ideas required to produce technical reports which can be read and used by varying audiences. The workshop included useful tips, tricks and techniques for improving participants’ writing competencies.  

The participants all expressed their gratitude to the facilitator, Mr. Mirza Ali Mohammed and by extension the University for the training. One participant stated that the course has equipped him with the competencies to create a well-written report using the application of the principles presented in the workshop.
