At UTT Outreach, education goes beyond traditional programme offerings. Our commitment to providing practical and industry-relevant training has led to yet another successful completion of a specialised training engagement. From July 17 to 21, 2023, Outreach faciliated a comprehensive training course in Explosives and Blasting Engineering, focusing on the quarry industry.

Facilated by Professor Herbert Sukhu, this intensive 40-hour course delved into the intricacies of conducting surface and subsurface blasting designs for civil engineering works in quarries. With participants from various leading entities from the quarry industry, the course fostered an environment of shared learning and expertise.
