A Quality Culture can be defined as a set of values, attitudes and behaviours which characterise how an organisation continuously improves the quality of its service and its relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

In the coming months, as we begin our self-study to prepare for institutional re-accreditation in 2017, QA&IE will embark on a series of initiatives geared towards making quality a core value at UTT. Creating a quality culture takes time and it must be supported by a strong sense of ownership and empowerment.
Harvard Business Review (April 2014) identifies four essentials of a quality culture:
Partner with us as we will seek to go beneath the surface of our day to day operations to understand how we can embed “quality” deep within the UTT culture. QA&IE will be conducting an employee survey that seeks to collect data that will assist in this effort. We look forward to your cooperation.
