Immediately upon completion of the Masters in Health Administration- Health Systems at The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), Nadia Ram-Bhola was able to land her dream job! Her journey was long and winding but rooted in determination. From a private pharmacy assistant, to a Medical Laboratory Technologist I, then II and finally III, Nadia left the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA) as the Head of Department at the Couva District Health Faculty Pathology Laboratory.

Now at Ministry of Health as the Laboratory Services Program Officer, she seeks to be instrumental in Trinidad and Tobago’s achievement of the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals. Nadia Ram-Bhola is focused on implementing and managing strategic policies on a national level using her critical thinking, and cross functional collaboration. With 15 years’ laboratory experience her expertise is both at a technical and managerial level.

Her hobbies include reading, baking and gardening; nature allows her to escape to serenity. With the loyal support system of her husband and parents, she believes no dream is impossible if you work for it.
