As a student it is important for you to understand the terms associated with your academic status. Clause 6.39 of the General Academic Regulations states that the following rules will apply for progression to the next academic level:

1. Term GPA >=2.0 - progress in good standing
2. Term GPA < 2.0 - academic probation
3. If while on probation the student’s TGPA is < 2.0 (TGPA), academic suspension is imposed - meaning that student cannot progress further before correcting deficiencies.
