Re: Status of Successful Election Candidates for Student Guild Officers

As you may be aware, elections for Student Guild Officers were recently conducted. Subsequently, before being considered official Student Guild Officers, all elected persons are required to complete the necessary training and be inaugurated.  In this regard, until the aforementioned requirements are met, all elected persons are unauthorised to act in an official capacity of the Student Guild.

The Executive Student Guild values integrity and the continuity of its operations. As such, it is imperative that all elected persons undergo the mandatory training as per the Guild’s Constitution, to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively fulfil their responsibilities.

Once the training has been successfully completed, the newly elected persons will be officially installed as Student Guild Officers, and an official memorandum acknowledging their status will be circulated to all staff and students.

Please be advised that the Executive Student Guild remains committed to ensuring a smooth transition and the effective functioning of the Student Guild. We would like to underscore the importance of proper training and preparation for Guild Officers, and appreciate your cooperation in respecting and adhering to this process.
