As of June 1st, 2016 the University of Trinidad and Tobago is migrating to its new Learning Management System, Canvas. The migration from Blackboard to Canvas has been successfully explored and piloted for almost two years and currently there are already over two hundred (200) courses hosted in Canvas.

In an effort to facilitate the migration process, TLC offers a slew of workshops on various UTT campuses on ‘Getting Started with Canvas’. For a workshop schedule on Canvas training please follow this link:

If you are unable to attend any of the workshops, you will find all the relevant training information that you may need to make yourself comfortable in the new Canvas environment by clicking on the Canvas TAB/column on the TLC website. Here, you will also find information regarding the (automatic) migration of existing Blackboard courses to Canvas.
