Academic Unit: Utilities and Sustainable Engineering

Mr Moti Ramsingh is a Senior Instructor in the Utilities and Sustainable Engineering Unit at the University of Trinidad and Tobago for the past 13 years.

He received an MSc. with Distinction in Electrical and Computer Engineering majoring in Digital Systems and a BSc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of the West Indies (UWI)-St Augustine.

Mr Ramsingh has been Lecturing in the Electrical/ Electronic Engineering field for thirty-five (35) years. He delivers courses at both the B.A.Sc. and Diploma levels.

In addition to lecturing since 2009, he served as Discipline leader for the NETD Electrical /Electronic Engineering and the NETD in Instrumentation Engineering programmes.

He was also appointed to the National TVET Research Council of Trinidad and Tobago (NTVETRC) and served between 2021 and 2023.

At the University, Mr Ramsingh is currently serving as a member of the Board of Undergraduate Studies Curriculum Review Sub-committee.
