Several of the students shared some of their innovative business ideas and Professor Bhattacharya, uSTART staff and the visiting entrepreneurs (uSTART incubatees) were very impressed with their thought processes. These budding entrepreneurs were advised that their projects must present a solution to problems and must offer alternatives; they should be wary of having only one option to solve a problem.

The visiting students were reminded that today's economy is network-oriented, that one's network is one's "net worth" and that one should consider exploring the model in which customers now innovate for companies.

The uSTART incubates who shared their entrepreneurial experiences and "tips of the trade" were: Shawn De Freitas and Deidre Lee Kin (Dingole E-commerce Services), Greer Woodham (AMEN Print House), Brent Bachew (Start Motion Studios) and Emerald Abrahim (Adii Stiatent).
The students found the experience to be refreshing, as they were able to interact with entrepreneurs and gain insight into the commitment required to face the challenges presented. They were also pleased to see that UTT possessed an avenue such as uSTART to provide them with the necessary support for their business ventures.
