New Music Gathering

Abstract
On August 18, 2021 I performed at the New Music Gathering, a hybrid program with both in-person and online components, based in St. Paul Minnesota. I participated in the online program with Duo Extreme. This New Music Gathering program is a less formal, open environment which encourages participation of attendees. Attendees span all abilities and age levels of enthusiasts from all over the world. This performance provided an opportunity to display the versatility of steelpan and pairing of steelpan with clarinet to a wider audience through new music by composer Bill Pfaff.
