The Maritime Technology Cooperation Centre (MTCC) in collaboration with MTCC Latin America is scheduled to run its capacity-building workshop, which is a critical initiative under the TEST Biofouling Project, for participants of the Partnering Countries: Argentina, Chile and Panama.

The TEST Biofouling Project builds upon the successful GloFouling Partnerships Project and continues to showcase effective approaches to biofouling management. The workshop is a key component of the TEST Biofouling Project, which aims to establish a thorough understanding of biofouling in marine environments and its role in spreading Invasive Alien Species (IAS), with the beneficial aim of reducing GHG (Green House Gas Emissions).

Here's what makes the TEST Biofouling Virtual Workshop impactful:

  • Focused Approach: The project prioritizes areas identified by the Partnering Countries to ensure maximum impact on their specific needs.
  • Collaborative Expertise: MTCC Caribbean will provide crucial technical support in delivering training and facilitating the transfer of knowledge focusing on biofouling management practices.
  • Sustainable Capacity Building: The project emphasizes knowledge transfer and building long-term expertise within participating countries.
