Training Packages under IMO E-Learning

MTCC Caribbean are the implementers of several projects in collaboration with IMO. One of them is the IMO-Norad TEST Biofouling Project which is closely aligned with the GloFouling Partnerships Project. The TEST Biofouling project builds on its success to continue to promote environmentally sound technologies to mitigate marine  biofouling.

IMO presents an eLearning course designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to biofouling on ships. The course explores how biofouling serves as a vector for invasive aquatic species and offers insights into various management solutions and technologies available. Participants will engage with interactive materials, including videos, animations, quizzes, a role-playing exercise, and a final assessment. Upon successful completion, a digital certificate will be awarded.
