Seecharan Selected as Head Coach of Trinidad and Tobago Men's Under-23 (U23) and Senior Volleyball Teams

The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) Patriots Volleyball Coach, Essiel Seecharan, has been selected by the Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation (TTVF) as the Head Coach of the Trinidad and Tobago Men's U23 and Senior National Volleyball teams.

Coach Seecharan, along with other notable names in local volleyball has been appointed to manage various national teams in preparation for upcoming Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) events, scheduled for 2025.

Seecharan, a former national player is set to lead both teams at the CAZOVA U23 Men's Championship and the Senior Men's Championship, respectively. The U23 tournament will be hosted in the Cayman Islands from July 3 - 7, 2025, while the senior competition will take place in the Bahamas from August 13 - 23, 2025.

Coach Seecharan will work alongside Sean-Miguel Morrison, Curtis Burkett and Saleem Ali, as part of the technical staff for the two national outfits. Additionally, Ali has been appointed as Head Coach of the Under-17 Girls team, while Burkett will lead the Under-17 Boys team.

The TTVF also named Deon Hutchinson as the Head Coach of the Women's U23 and Senior National teams. Former UTT Patriots Volleyball student-athlete and national player, Courtnee-Mae Clifford, will form part of Hutchinson's support staff along with Nicholson Drakes and La-Teisha Joseph.
