UTT Patriots Athletics student-athlete Rogill Torres, raced into first place with a time of 50.51 seconds, just 0.02 seconds off his personal best (PB), in the Men's 400M Dash event at the 2022 National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad & Tobago (NAAATT) Preparation Meet #1.

Following several cancelled and postponed events, the NAAATT hosted its first preparation track and field series for the year from 29-30 January, at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain.

Torres also achieved a PB of 22.95 seconds in the Men's 200M Dash, capturing 4th place.

Other notable performances included a 3rd place finish and PB by UTT Patriot, Kenan Alexander with a distance of 32.90 metres in the Men's Discus Throw (2kg), and Matthew Graham finishing 2nd and 3rd in the Men's 100M Dash (11.02 PB) and 400M Dash (51.19) events, respectively.
