On February 2, 2025, UTT Patriots Athletics Coach, Antonia Burton was elected as Vice-President of the North American Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Track and Field Coaching Association. Coach Burton’s nomination and selection was a testament to the faith shown by regional colleagues, due to her extensive background in athletics and coaching.

Burton expressed her ambition to see the NACAC region remain competitive and successful globally. Her vision, however, is to elevate coaching practices to ensure that athletes in the region receive top-tier training and support, enabling them to excel on both national and international platforms at a higher rate.

As she embarks on this new role, with her commitment to advancing the sport that positively influenced her life, she hopes to inspire others and drive forward the mission of developing excellence in track and field throughout the region.
