The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) is proud to announce that three of its staff members have been elected to executive leadership positions within the Trinidad and Tobago Paralympic Committee (TTPC), reaffirming the University’s strong commitment to sport, inclusion, and national development.
Mr Micky Ruben has been elected President of the TTPC, marking a significant milestone in his continued service to sport and athlete development in Trinidad and Tobago. Joining him on the executive are Mrs Rhonda Clarke-Goden, who has been elected General Secretary, and Ms Aleena Edwards, who will serve as Vice President.
Their selection reflects the confidence placed in their leadership, professionalism, and dedication to advancing opportunities for athletes with disabilities. Through their new roles, they will work to strengthen governance, expand participation, and enhance pathways for paralympic athletes at both national and international levels.
UTT’s strong representation on the TTPC executive underscores the University’s broader commitment to holistic development, diversity, and social inclusion.
