The University of Trinidad and Tobago's (UTT) Professor Yufei Wu was among a number of distinguished international experts in the area of cybersecurity invited to contribute to the MIT Technology Review, on digital security preparedness.
Professor Wu, Programme Leader at the University's Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT), provided insight on the 2022/23 installation of MIT's Cyber Defense Index which measures the extent to which the world's twenty largest and most digitally forward economies have adopted technology and digital practices to resist cyberattacks. The index also analyses how well these governments and their policy frameworks promote cybersecure digital transactions.
MIT Technology Review derives authority from its relationship to the world's foremost technology institution and from its editors' deep technical knowledge, and capacity to see technologies in their broadest context.
Professor Wu's participation in this compilation of this Index highlights the quality of his research and expert technical knowledge in this area, and reflects the quality of teaching delivered at the national University.
