It’s almost that time of year again! 

Carnival week marks the mid-point of the second semester, leaving six weeks to the end of term and ten weeks to the start of APA’s end-of-year production - APAFEST. This year, for the first time, the entire Performing Arts forces of the APA student body will be on the stage of the Lord Kitchener Auditorium for the third and final instalment of the show-trilogy that began in 2017 with RISE and evolved into SHINE in 2018. 

The 2019 edition is entitled DREAM, presented in partnership with CONNECTT COLLECTIVE, an NGO specialising in fundraising for youth art projects since 2015. 

Once again, APA students will be out in force for an evening of Music and Dance featuring the musicians, dancers and actors of the Bachelor of Fine Arts and Artist Diploma programmes, as well as design and production by students and staff of the Animation and Theatre Design & Production departments. DREAM promises to be an epic event, featuring world premieres by Len "Boogsie" Sharpe, Adam Walters and Quentin Neckles with works by Ravel, Holst, Owen Clayton Condon, Brother Marvin and Shadow, a special homage to Ken "Professor" Philmore and a special guest appearance by 2018 Calypso Monarch and APA alumnus Helon Francis.
