Since its inception, the UTT Ibis Ensemble has regularly performed classic and vintage Calypsos from 1912 through the first golden age of the 1930s and 40s. Together with Krisson Joseph and Michael Chapman, we will present a selection of audience favourites (and our favourites) from the string band arrangements of Lovey’s Band and Belasco, to calypsos by Houdini, Roaring Lion, Atilla and Growling Tiger.
