UTT Patriots Cricket student-athlete, Jedidiah John, has been selected as captain of one of the eight (8) zonal cricket teams which will participate in the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) Inter-Zone Under-19 Youth Series.
The tournament, sponsored by Point Lisas Steel Products (PLSP) Limited, is set to bowl off on 2 March, 2023.
As captain, John will lead the charges of the East zone contingent throughout the duration of the competition.
According to TTCB President Azim Bassarath, the matches will be used to evaluate player performances for future national selection and participation in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Rising Stars tournament.
The eight (8) zones identified for the series are East, North East, Tobago, North, South, Central, South East, and South West.
