Imran Jan, a Field Officer for the SUCCESS Unit of the Academy of Sport and Leisure of UTT has been selected by the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board as an Assistant Coach to train young cricketers of this nation.

The live-in camp, which will run for nine weekends at the Sir Frank Worrell Development Centre, involves 17 players who have been closely involved with the national team for the last few seasons.

The players are all on the fringe of national selection and the TTCB believes that they have the "potential” to represent Trinidad and Tobago and the West Indies. They have been selected to undergo ‘socialized training’ during the course of the programme.

  • Imran Jan has coached in the U.K. for 7 summers
  • He has worked with all age groups including up to the senior club teams
  • Jan coached Queen’s Park Cricket Club winning 3 titles in 2007,
  • The club placed second by one point in the National league and the Semi Final of the 20/20 competition
  • QPCC was voted Club of the Year 2007 for the first time (Under Imran’s watch!)
  • Imran Jan has qualified as England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Level 3 Coach.
