Professor Peter Seivewright to perform at Pt. Lisas

The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) continues its introduction of Western Classical music with a piano recital featuring Professor of Music at UTT, Peter Seivewright, on Thursday April 29, 2010, at the UTT Pt. Lisas Campus from 6:30 p.m.
Since joining UTT in 2008, Professor Seivewright has staged several piano recitals for students, both secondary and tertiary, and the general public.  This particular concert is a prelude to the Artist Diploma in Music (Western classical), a full-time two (2) year or three (3) year part-time programme being offered at the Academy for the Performing Arts at UTT in September, 2010.
Professor Seivewright has enthralled audiences throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, and the U.S.A., with his prowess on the piano.  As a concerto soloist, he has performed with a number of leading British orchestras, including the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, the Scottish Sinfonietta, the Strathclyde Sinfonia, Camerata Scotland, the Scottish Baroque Soloists and the Paragon Ensemble.
