uSTART is the first University-originated Business Incubator in Trinidad and Tobago. uSTART functions as an engine of innovation and enterprise, fostering an ecosystem that supports entrepreneurial mindsets of students, alumni and staff of UTT.

uSTART aims to become the vessel by which sustainable businesses are created by aspiring UTT entrepreneurs.

It is an integral component towards achieving UTT's Mission:
"To contribute to the sustainable and entrepreneurial development of society through the advancement and application of research, dissemination of knowledge and public engagement in our pursuit to produce work-ready graduates, innovators and critical thinkers."

uSTART programme is poised to become a catalyst for diversification in Trinidad and Tobago, as the clients of the programme are directly sourced from the student population, alumni and staff.
