The Creative Director of Bhowram Atelier (BA) Ricky Bhowram comes from a lineage that has been creating excellence in fashion for over three (3) generations. BA focuses on impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail in design. Our aim is to provide inspiration to our BA family for daily life, while celebrating the human body and spirit. Bhowram Atelier was part of the West-Canadia Fashion show in 2015 and was also invited to the Paris and Italy Fashion Week in 2017. Owner and Lead Designer Ricky Bhowram was also selected to be part of the 2017 Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative. Our approach to fashion is different to the common Caribbean aesthetic, as we focus on strong architectural detailing and tailoring with a mixture of softness and femininity. Our brand is steeped in the preservation of the Environment, Culture and Heritage, and the interaction of modernisation and technology between them.
