The Centre for Kinesiology, Physical Education and Sport (CKPES) invites you to its first Science Exhibition Week. The inauguration ceremony is on November 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Auditorium, UTT San Fernando Campus. You can engage students about their posters and models during November 22-25, 2022 from 12 noon - 12:55 p.m. and after the inauguration ceremony.

This initiative is focused on undergraduate Higher Education Teaching and Learning. The overarching goal is to ‘Bring Textbooks to Life’ using a pedagogical approach that takes Bloom's taxonomy to its higher domains through lateral, vertical, social, experiential and purposeful learning. This curriculum design aligns with Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences to appreciate the varying needs and intelligence of students. The outcome of the Science Exhibition Week project is to develop critical thinking, oral presentation skills, communication, research, networking ability, academic writing, project management capability and long-term recall.

The Science Exhibition Week is being pioneered by Dr Ashton Rogers.
