Professor Clément Imbert, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Professor Prakash Persad, President (Ag.) and members of the Management Team hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation at the UTT  Tamana Facility on September 25, 2020. The delegation was led by Senator the Honourable, Hassel Bacchus, Minister in the Ministry of Public Administration and Digital Transformation and included a tour of the facility. The purpose of the visit was geared towards identifying a possible location for housing a Government Data Centre in the East Block.

The Ministerial delegation was pleased with the UTT Tamana Facility and discussions were also held regarding the suitability of housing a team of persons from the Ministry. These discussions are ongoing.
