Dr. Beverly Chittoo is an Assistant Professor with the Project Management and Civil Infrastructures System Unit at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT). She is a graduate of the UTT where she holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering; and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering Systems with Construction Engineering.
Dr. Chittoo has been teaching for the past ten years and currently lectures in areas of Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Structural Engineering. She has a passion for research and is actively involved in various environmental engineering projects as well as the co-supervision of research projects at the undergraduate level. Her goal as an educator is to increase the intellectual competency of each student to foster lifelong learning attitudes by instilling curiosity and encouraging critical thinking, independent learning and the development of innovation skills.
